Real estate photo tips, to keep you informed
High resolution or interpolation.
I always shoot high resolution images, to give you the best quality photos at all times.
Does your photographer shoot high resolution images, or instead shoot lower resolution images (to save themselves time) and
then interpolate them, to enlarge their size? Interpolating images
afterwards is never as good as shooting properly in the first place. Be
sure you are getting what you are paying for.

Animated slideshows of still images is not HD VIDEO.
Get HD Video of your listing, don't settle for an animated slideshow.
A slideshow of still images animated with the Ken Burns (pan and zoom)
effect, is not the same as an HD Video. This screen grab illustrates how
the Ken Burns effect is applied to a still image, by selecting
different parts of the same image. The end result is that the image
simply moves within a confined area, or frame. This is not HD
Video....it is merely a slideshow, and your clients will know the
difference.

Virtual tours are a waste of money.
Video reaches more potential buyers than old fashioned virtual tours,
that don't play on most devices, and may result in faster sales. Make
the most of your advertising budget, and get video instead.
People emotionally connect with realty video.
Got a new listing? Get a video. Virtual tours are old fashioned, flash
driven and don't play on iPads, iPhones and most handheld devices. Why
spend money on something only some people can view?
I am pleased to now offer video service for realtors. Order 25 images
and a walkthrough video as a single package. Please check out the video
and contact me for pricing details.

Virtual tours are a waste of money.
I just
tried to watch a virtual tour of a realtor's listing on an Apple iPad. It won't play, because Flash doesn't work on iPhones, iPads,
Android phones and most tablets and other mobile devices. However, Video
plays on everything, reaches more potential buyers, and may result in
faster home sales. Get Video, virtual tours are the past.

Virtual tours are yesterday's technology, relics of the past.
Do you pay good money for virtual tours? Are you aware that most people can't view them.
